Avulsed (Knocked-Out) Tooth:
Handle only by crown, never touch root surface. Rinse gently in saline or milk if dirty. Place in fresh milk and reach clinic within 60 minutes for re-implantation.
Persistent Hemorrhage (Bleeding):
Bite firmly on folded sterile gauze or a clean moist tea bag for 30 minutes without spitting or disturbing clot. If bleeding persists, proceed to casualty.
Facial Swelling with Trismus:
Spreading cellulitis or difficulty swallowing requires emergency parenteral antibiotics and clinical drainage. Do not delay.
